Stockings, Leggings and Bare Legs

In the late 1980's and early 90's, stockings that had lace tops which held itself up was suddenly noticed to be more erotic than wearing just a pair of tights. Leggings were also common in the early 90's and continued to be worn in the privacy of their homes well past their sell by date. By the early 1990's, the only tights that were worn with the short skirt of the time were black and opaque. By the late 90's, the bare nude look and natural toned tights were acceptable again.
Many younger women eventually abandoned tights altogether. They preferred to show their completely natural legs. At the same time many variations of tights came into the clothing shops. These ranged from soft and sheer to shiny, support or bare effects. From the public's prospective, wearing tights still remains correct for business wear and it's best to avoid bare legs for any occasion unless the legs are silky smooth!
